Former Home Secretary Alan Johnson, the Labour MP for Hull West and Hessle, will be in York on Thursday October 8 to discuss the forthcoming referendum on membership of the EU.

As well as discussing Labour’s position and role in the referendum, Johneon, who was also Health Secretary and Education Secretary will answer questions from members.

The event will be held in the main hall of the Priory Street Centre with doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. It is due to finish at 9pm.

The event is free, and there will be a raffle to cover the cost of the hall. Donations will be gratefully received.
