In Clifton to save the full service of Citizens Advice York

This week we were out on Water Lane and Kingsway North with Rachael Maskell MP for York Central, speaking to residents about our campaigning work to save the full service of Citizens Advice York.

A significant reduction in income from charitable donations and specialist projects has forced Citizens Advice York to halve the number of days that it is able to offer a drop-in service to people in our city, from four days a week to two. This comes at a time when the need for the service is growing, and is expected to increase even further as Universal Credit is rolled out city wide.
