Councillor - Clifton

Like my parents, I have lived and worked in York all my life and I cannot think of a better place to call my home. My son and daughter both returned to York after studying at university. I work for Rachael Maskell York’s MP. I studied Social Policy at York University as a mature student, balancing family life, work and education, and I have a keen interest in life-long learning
I have strong links with Clifton. My daughter went to Shipton Street School, I have family and friends here and I help out at St Luke’s Activity Week every August.

Living in York, one of my main interests is local and family history. I am a loyal York City Knights fan but I also support York City Football Club and am 100% in favour of the new community stadium, which will give both teams a secure future.

I am an ordinary person with the same concerns that we all share and like Danny, my fellow Clifton Councillor, I am determined that the views of the people of Clifton are heard. If you have any concerns you want raising, pop along to one of our monthly surgeries at St Luke's coffee mornings or meet us at one of our street stalls or street surgeries or use our contact details here.
