Councillor - Acomb
- Tracey has represented the Acomb Ward since 1999. Tracey's areas of interest are crime, health, housing and planning.
- Currently the Cabinet Member for Communities she has previously held the portfolio for Health Housing & Adult Social Services and been Labour Spokesperson for both Planning & Transport and Housing & Adult Social Services. Tracey is proud to have set up and brought to its statutory position the city’s Health & Wellbeing Board. Currently Tracey chairs the Domestic Abuse Strategy Board and is a member of the Planning Committee and Local Plan Group. Tracey is also on the boards and committees of a number of regional and national organisations.
- Born in York, Tracey attended Fishergate Primary, Mill Mount and York College. In recent years she has obtained a BSc and MA through the Open University. Working for nearly two decades in the voluntary sector, Tracey worked for 12 years as an office manager in the local office of a national charity, now as Deputy Leader of the Council she works full time in the role. Tracey lives with her daughter, who attends a local secondary school.
- When time allows Tracey likes to go on long distance bicycle rides and is a lifelong supporter of Liverpool Football Club.
